You've been lied to for a long time! They’ve told us to put eggs in different baskets. but that’s a lie! Let me show you how.
Society has forgotten the dignity of process. So why not try multiple things instead of one? Now we're forced to carry plenty baskets filled with the same thing, eggs. Yes, I know it's all metaphorical. So we'll try to see things a little metaphorically too. You're with me right?
What are these eggs that we put in different baskets? Oh, you haven't thought about it too. I thought as much. Alright, let me help you; opportunities, skills, jobs, knowledge, hobbies, even something as basic as food.
On the surface it simply means trying out different things and not doing one thing. Watch this; you're a content writer, then you learn social media management and then graphic design. After you begin to put your mind and fingers into small cyber security.
It looks like the smart thing to do, right. Transitioning can get really hard and you don't know where your luck can spring from.
So at the end of the day, please what are you? Who are you? Yes, no skill is making sense because you've not stayed long enough to even understand one.
Do you know the disadvantages of putting your eggs in one basket? You won't be known for anything nor can you become an expert in anything.
Take this wisdom from the Holy Spirit for free. Global systems are designed for expertise, commitment and stability. All the big names you hear, those who determine global affairs. Have you asked yourself what's common about them?
You haven't? Why? And you're using their products.
They have dedicated decades to knowing one thing and one thing alone; not two, just one! I saw a woman's profile, over 40 years in a particular field of medicine. The woman is a go-to solution for anything in that field.
You can only be known for one thing. Chill let's go Biblical.
When God wanted to save us, what did He do? He put all His eggs in one basket, in, Jesus. God could have tried other means but before the dawn of time, He already destined the One and Jesus dedicated all His Life to that singular Purpose.
Look at marriage, you get to spend your lifetime with one person. Can you try different marital baskets? You can't!
What does that say to you?
People immediately trust commitment. Forget branding or marketing. You can bet your life that the iPhone will bang. It's not because of the branding, it's because they've been in the market for over 40 years.
You didn't even know?
From iPods to iPhone, now Apple is not just a brand, it's a lifestyle and it takes years to build a lifestyle. Even for you a living being.
Imagine that a new phone brand comes into the market and they're offering 1,000 features better than the iPhone. What will be your reaction? Hmm, who be these ones again?
Will you try it? Maybe after hearing millions of reviews.
Look at Temu. With their crazy viral marketing, yet people are buying from names they trust. We still say, Omo, Shelltox. These brands are etched into memory; they're almost a reflex. When you want detergent, you say Omo.
You cannot beat commitment. No matter how hard you try. Influence cannot beat commitment. Why do you think they ask for five, seven, and even ten years of expertise for a job.
So this is your clue to start putting all your eggs in one basket. Let's not even go into the confusion and burnout that comes with carrying different baskets. Find what appeals to you and stand out and be known for that thing.
I know how hard it is to find your voice when you're in transition. Sometimes you want to try different things but it's more of trying the baskets than putting your eggs in them. Once you find the right basket, you put all your eggs in it.
Most importantly, put all your eggs in the One Basket, in God. Transitioning leaves you vulnerable and prone to building walls but that's not your answer. The reason why transitioning is possible is because God walks with you.
So when starting out is a new phase, no matter how little it is, moving from 100l to 200l, put all your eggs in God. He multiples them.

On Life, Healing and Growing
A weekly account of my life as a Wasseminarian.
I have been growing in my walk with God. It’s becoming a lot more beautiful and intimate.
News flash: This is the first publication with the new laptop God provided.
There is something cooking behind the scenes. Something very biggggg. I’m not unveiling yet. If suspense choke you, I promise you it's worth it.
I finally finished Vince Flynn book o. Glory to the Lord. I am now reading email marketing materials.
This past week, I have started envisioning myself as the email marketer I wanna be. My content calendar is ready, and I am taking courses. I already feel overwhelmed but, I am strengthened already.
This week I am making more conscious efforts to teach my student. Last week we didn’t do much.
On Monday, God healed me of the unhealthy drive for success. Now, I experience peace in my soul, there’s rest and I don’t experience burnout anymore.
Until next week. With love and intention. ❤️
The saying "don't put your eggs in one basket" has been so etched into my mind for a long time that I began to do just as they said.
Now, I've unlearnt that and I've learnt this instead
Thank you, Wasseminarian.
